Pallets play a crucial role in cargo transportation because they make goods easier to handle and store.
Pallets are typically used for air and LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, either at the origin or the destination.
If a trucker does not provide pallets for exchange when picking up cargo, the carrier will impose a cost on them.
The driver needs to provide pallets for exchange if the airline or warehouse has palletized the shipment.
The cost for not providing pallets is determined by the carrier and is assessed per pallet.
